Who We Are
The Sloan Scholars network is a vibrant community of over 1,800 graduates of the Sloan Legacy, UCEM, and SIGP programs. United by a shared commitment to advancing excellence in STEM, the network’s mission is to elevate the representation and visibility of Sloan Scholars in the field while fostering mentorship, leadership, and lasting professional connections within the community.
What We Do
In collaboration with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, NACME, and the SIGP program, the Sloan Scholars Mentoring Network (SSMN) was created by the Social Science Research Council to support the evolving professional needs of Sloan Scholar alumni. SSMN fosters a strong, engaged community of scholars committed to mentorship and leadership in STEM and works to build a prestigious, visible Sloan Scholar identity. Through a wide range of offerings - including professional development webinars, grants and awards, academic symposia, job market support, and regional networking - SSMN equips alumni with resources to thrive in their careers and to serve as leaders in their fields.
